Development

tl;dr:

The Kathexisverse is mostly based on SatAM, S3&K, and the Sonic Adventure titles. Most of the Sonic games up to around 2004/Sonic Battle for the GBA have worked their way in here somehow, and there are references to some of the later titles. The Archie comic and the Fleetway comic both come into play too, be it with characters I've taken and adapted, locations, etc. Outside of the Sonic franchise, this canon was heavily influenced by Final Fantasy VII, and by Tales of the Abyss to a recent and lesser extent.
