The definition of the site's name really sums up what it's about. Kathexis is here as a repository for all my musings, writings, and scribblings on the subject of my Sonicverse, the recipient of most of my 'emotional energy' as that definition calls it. I've put a lot of thought into it, even though I don't have much I can show for it. Thusly, I want it all in one place, and this is it.

I put the time and effort into maintaining this site because this is the way I have wanted to present this information since I started fleshing it out. Also because I'm stubborn, and the virtual disappearance of independent fansites makes me uncomfortable.

Old versions

Presentation changed according to host. There was an older version of the Awardspace rendition, but it was overwritten with the pages and style of the one you see now. There's nothing to care enough about for me to stick version one up. Was also hosted on 6te.net and x10Hosting, but those hosts actually noticed that the webspace was being neglected and as such removed the pages. There was also a forum, which was never used, and which I have since nuked.

These are mostly for entertainment value. Okay, no, they're entirely for entertainment value.
